It is essential to exercise caution and conduct deep research before engaging with any online trading platform, including BitWest Group.
To help you make an educated decision, consider checking out our in-depth reviews of two other companies we have recently examined: FSC Options and Devon Finance Ltd.
When researching an online broker, the first and most important step should always be to find out if they have a regulatory license from a financial institution. This will tell you whether they are regulated by a central authority or if you are dealing with an offshore and/or unregulated investment company.
Unfortunately, BitWest Group is not regulated or authorized to operate by any major regulatory authority, which means it will be a difficult process to withdraw from this company if they decide to ignore your request or suspend your account for trivial reasons.
If a broker is not licensed by the regulatory authority in your jurisdiction, that likely means they are unregulated and should be avoided. Even if the brokerage is regulated, it is best to avoid it if the regulator happens to be outside your jurisdiction.

Celeste Aida Tess Catalla-James says:
I like to close my account with Bitwest Group, but the trader said it’s not possible. I made a total withdrawal of AUD39,000.00 via Binance, which turned out to be a fake Binance. The remaining money with Bitwest is AUD93,000 but the trader has been ignoring my messages for the last 3 months. I could see him on the line and when I call his number, he does not like to take my call. I like to report him to FINRA, HIS CRD # 6366410 JEFFREY CLARK JOHNSON. He sanctioned all payments and helped me pay all the fake wallets of Binance and FATF who suspected me of money laundering and asked for custodial payments which wiped out my entire life savings. Said FATF emailed me that my funds were transferred to Australian Payments Plus for deposit to my local bank – A$1252million and withheld A$520,000 custodial money. Australian Payments Plus contacted me and said they were instructed to deposit into my account but they too needed a custodial money of A$30,000! I had no more money left so I told the APP I cannot pay anymore. The so called Compliance Officer gave me 2 wks to pay or the custodial fee will increase. I reported them to the Australian Directorate and provided all the documentation. The officer called me 3x so I told him I’ve reported them. The automatic increase email was sent and of course I did not respond anymore. I sent a relative to the office of APP and found out that there was no such employee employed as Compliance Officer! The cyber police contacted me and said I was involved in a phising scam and they cannot help me because it happened overseas. I’m a retiree who lives on my private superannuation that was emptied to prove that I was not money laundering. What a lesson that made me destitute and now depending on government pension and family support. Bitwest is my only hope in getting some cash, but the trader is avoiding me. He cannot be located either because the address he gave me as office of Bitwest in London does not exist. Can you help me? I cannot give you an upfront payment. I can only pay your fee once I get back that $93K Bitwest is withholding.
