It is essential to exercise caution and conduct deep research before engaging with any online trading platform, including SMI Trade.
To help you make an educated decision, consider checking out our in-depth reviews of two other companies we have recently examined: ExchangeSolutionsLtd and GenetiCrypto.
When researching an online broker, the first and most important step should always be to find out if they have a regulatory license from a financial institution. This will tell you whether they are regulated by a central authority or if you are dealing with an offshore and/or unregulated investment company.
Unfortunately, SMI Trade is not regulated or authorized to operate by any major regulatory authority, which means it will be a difficult process to withdraw from this company if they decide to ignore your request or suspend your account for trivial reasons.
If a broker is not licensed by the regulatory authority in your jurisdiction, that likely means they are unregulated and should be avoided. Even if the brokerage is regulated, it is best to avoid it if the regulator happens to be outside your jurisdiction.

Carol Nguyen says:
On Thursday October 27th, I got a call from an individual claimed himself to be Roger Brown calling me from London and asking me how would I like to find my account for the investment that I requested. I recalled one advertisement that I requested on YouTube ad that you only need to invest $250 you will likely make $2000-2500 a month, to me this does not sound too good to be true and I just think that $250 is not much comparing to the profit that I would get. So I agree to fund my money through their app call paypound, after that they walk me through to register and sign in SMItrade website and I would be able to see my fund and $100 bonus in there. He then transferred my file to a lady called Victoria Papas and she will walk me through how to trade. It was looking good for the first few days. I could see gain of $36 then $75 then $173 the 3rd day. I never heard anything from her the 4th day and I loggged in by my self to see the trade. I never touch anything because I am still not familiar with how the system work. The 5th day which is today. I tried to log in but the website was down. It looks like it is still operating but the log in botton was down. I then tried to contact Victoria and Roger but it said that the email domain don’t exist. I usually very careful with investing and buying things. This is my 1st time that got scam like this without any doubt until it actually happened. So people, please be careful with SIM trade. Don’t fall for them. I am not easy to trust any ad online line. This is my 1sy time to give a try and I got scam.
